Apostle Paul states, I speak in tongues more than you all. But, in church he would prefer to speak 5 words everyone could understand. 

Just because some have misused tongues. Don't let that stop you from learning about tongues as a prayer language to build you up. And, as a gift of interpreting tongues to be used in proper order in the church. 

Unless agreed beforehand, in a public setting there MUST be an interpretation in an understandable language and must be done in an orderly manner as the Spirit leads.

Tongues is a powerful tool, so decide for yourself if you want to pursue this gift as the bible states in Mark 16:17, Acts 19:6, I. Cor. 12:10, I. Cor. 15:5
